Gary Hensley, the owner of our Arnold auto repair shop, can never fully express the joy and gratitude felt serving his local community.

This year’s National Service Day was no exception.

Single moms’ free oil change event

This year was a success with 32 free oil changes performed for single moms and widows in Arnold!

It was a fast-paced day with four ASE-certified technicians performing the oil change services and Gary taking control of the office. Fortunately, all went well.

One generous mom paid it forward

For one single mom, the service was too moving to keep to herself.

After her oil change, our friendly staff received the following note.

“I wanted to say ‘Thank you’ to you and your crew. I appreciate the time and dedication you all have not only in your job, but also in service toward our God. I pondered the reason for being there this morning, feeling a little guilty, as I do not financially need the help. However, I realized that cars and car repair is an area God knows I need healing, so He sent you. I believe God is sending someone that needs more help and He will let you know who that is. I would like to help.”

This note was given, along with $100, to help another customer in need. The Arnold staff is honored to help this mom pay it forward in supporting a fellow Christian Brothers Automotive guest.
