What's Inspected During Our Tune-Up Service
Our tune-up service is a detailed process that covers a wide range of essential components. We'll provide a complete inspection of the following systems, and if needed, we'll offer expert recommendations for repairs or replacements. Our goal is to address every aspect of your car's performance, from its core engine functions to its safety systems.
- Ignition System: We inspect and, if necessary, replace spark plugs and wires. Old or worn-out spark plugs can lead to poor fuel economy and a sluggish engine.
- Filters: We check and replace the engine air filter and fuel filter. A clean air filter is essential for proper combustion, and a new fuel filter prevents debris from reaching your engine.
- Fluids: We inspect and top off or replace all crucial fluids, including engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and brake fluid. These fluids are the lifeblood of your vehicle, and keeping them clean and at the correct level is vital.
- Belts and Hoses: We examine all belts and hoses for signs of wear, cracks, or leaks. A failing belt can cause a complete breakdown, while a leaking hose can lead to a loss of coolant or other fluids, causing your engine to overheat.
- Battery and Electrical System: We test the battery's charge and the overall electrical system to ensure it's functioning correctly. This helps prevent unexpected starting issues.
- Tires: We check your tire pressure and inspect the tread for even wear. Proper tire inflation and condition are critical for safety and fuel efficiency.
