What to Expect With an Alignment
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a wheel alignment usually take?
A wheel alignment visit typically takes about an hour once your vehicle is in the shop, although timing can vary with inspection findings. If additional suspension work is needed, visits may take longer. Our complimentary shuttle can often take you where you need to go while we work.
How can I tell if my car really needs alignment?
Common signs include pulling to one side, an off-center steering wheel, or uneven tire wear. The best way to know for sure is to have our ASE-certified technicians inspect your tires, suspension, and measurements. We explain what we find and only recommend alignment when it makes sense.
Will you tell me the costs before doing any alignment work?
Yes, we talk through expected costs with you before we start alignment adjustments or related repairs. If our inspection uncovers additional concerns, we explain those findings and provide updated estimates. We do not move forward with work until you understand and approve the plan.
Is your alignment work covered by a warranty?
Our alignment-related services are covered by an industry-leading warranty. The exact coverage depends on the type of work performed and the parts involved. Our team is happy to review warranty details with you so you know how your vehicle is protected after your visit.
Who performs the alignment on my vehicle?
Your alignment is performed by our ASE-certified technicians using manufacturer-quality equipment. They review your concerns, inspect the vehicle, and make adjustments according to your vehicle’s specifications. We then explain the results with you before you leave, so you know what was done and why.
