2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I have my wheel alignment checked?
Most drivers should check alignment once a year or whenever the vehicle starts pulling, shows uneven tire wear, or after hitting a major pothole. Fayetteville’s shifting road conditions may make more regular checks a smart choice for local drivers.
Will a tire alignment fix uneven tire wear?
Alignment prevents further uneven tire wear, but cannot repair already damaged tires. Scheduling service promptly can slow additional wear and help your next set of tires last longer.
Does Fayetteville require any inspection for alignments?
Arkansas does not require state-mandated wheel or tire alignment inspections, but routine checks help support safe handling on city streets and are recommended after big impacts or major repairs.
What is the difference between a front-end and a four-wheel alignment?
A front-end alignment adjusts only the two front wheels and is typically performed on vehicles with a solid rear axle. A four-wheel alignment, which is standard for most modern cars and SUVs, adjusts all four wheels. Our technicians will always recommend the correct service based on your vehicle's make, model, and manufacturer specifications.
Is a wheel alignment the same as tire balancing?
No, they are different services that solve different problems. A wheel alignment corrects the angles of your tires so they travel straight and don't cause the car to pull to one side. Tire balancing, on the other hand, corrects weight distribution issues on the tire and wheel assembly to prevent vibrations and shaking, especially at higher speeds.
