Mercedes-Benz Systems We Commonly Service

Several Mercedes-Benz systems show up regularly in our service bays. The AIRMATIC air suspension, used on many Mercedes models, relies on air springs, a compressor, sensors, and a valve block to manage ride height and comfort. As mileage accumulates, this system commonly develops leaks or sensor faults that affect ride quality. Automatic transmissions in the 7G-Tronic family can develop valve body and mechatronics unit faults that produce rough or delayed shifting. Oil leaks from valve covers and gaskets are another recurring item on higher-mileage Mercedes engines. We diagnose these issues with manufacturer-quality equipment and walk you through the findings before any work begins.

If your Mercedes is due for service or something doesn’t feel right, call Christian Brothers Automotive Allen at (214) 658-1708 or submit a request through our contact form. We can get you scheduled and let you know what to expect from the moment you arrive.

Mercedes-Benz Service A & Service B Intervals

Mercedes-Benz uses a two-service maintenance cycle that alternates throughout the life of the vehicle. Service A is generally due at approximately 10,000 miles or one year, then about every 20,000 miles or two years after that. Service B is generally due at approximately 20,000 miles or one year after the previous service, continuing on a similar 20,000-mile or two-year interval. The specific items included vary by model year, and the two services alternate throughout. Staying on schedule with these intervals is one of the most effective ways to help protect a Mercedes-Benz long term.

How Allen Driving Conditions Affect Your Mercedes

Collin County summers put sustained heat load on engine cooling and cabin climate systems, and catching early signs during a routine inspection can be less disruptive than addressing a failure. Frequent stop-and-go driving also accelerates wear on brake pads, rotors, and related suspension components. When we inspect your Mercedes, we account for these local conditions rather than working from a one-size-fits-all maintenance checklist.
