What to Expect With an Alignment
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I need an alignment?
You may need an alignment if your car pulls, the steering wheel is off-center, or your tires show uneven wear. The best way to know for sure is to have our ASE-certified technicians inspect your suspension, steering, and tires, then explain whether alignment, repairs, or both are appropriate.
How long does a wheel alignment usually take?
A typical alignment visit often takes around an hour once your vehicle is in the shop. If we find worn parts or other issues, it can take longer. When you schedule, we can discuss timing for your specific vehicle, and you can use our shuttle or waiting area while we work.
Will you tell me if I need more than an alignment?
Yes, we always explain our findings before any work begins. If we discover worn or damaged suspension or steering components, we review those concerns with you, provide clear estimates, and answer your questions. You decide how to proceed, and we only perform services you approve.
Do your alignments come with a warranty?
Our alignment services are backed by an industry-leading warranty through Christian Brothers Automotive. Specific coverage depends on the service performed, and our team will outline those details at your visit. This warranty is designed to give you added confidence in the work we complete on your vehicle.
