WHAT:           As you climb out of your comfortable bed this morning the temperature around you in your home is a cool 74 degrees, life is good. But in a far away country a Marine is climbing out of a trench that he slept in and the temperature around him is pushing 110 degrees. 

 

And you ask: How can I help support our troops when I’m so far away? 

 

WHO:              Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation has teamed up with Houston Marine Moms to support U.S. military troops by hosting drop-off sites at each of their 14 Houston-based Christian Brothers Automotive locations.

 

                        Together, they are inviting the local Houston community to participate by donating any of the following supplies that will be shipped overseas:

Food Items – High Protein (No Pork)

§  Beef Jerky

§  Tuna/Chicken Packets

§  Individual Powdered Drink Mixes (“On the go” type, no large containers)

§  Granola Bars

§  Hard Individually Wrapped Candy & Gum (no chocolate)

 

Personal Care Items

§  Baby Wipes/Adult Disposable Wash Cloths (has soap that does not need to be removed)

§  Gold Bond Foot Powder

§  White over the Calf Crew or Tube Socks

§  Hand Sanitizer

§  Chap Stick
