"I committed what to me is a silly move. I took my Honda CRV in to Christian Brothers to have them look at it, even though there was really nothing wrong. This was percipitated by a planned vacation to the mountain regions. On inspection, they gave me a prioritized list of potential issues, with only one strong recommendation for repair. I had over 90K on my original brakes and the remaining fron pad life was extremely limited. They were quite open and honest about the state of my vehicle and I felt no pressure to do anything at all. I did let them do the brakes AND change the tranny fluid (I want both in great shape for the mountains), even though the tranny was low on their list. The offer of a shuttle was much appreciated, even though I had brought my bike to ride home and await their timely phone call. The final repair bill was exactly what was anticipated...no surprises. The work ..well, it worked. What more can you want?"

Since I had decided to wait for the AC service to be completed, I appreciated that Bill kept me informed as to what was going on. Being a retiree of Sears and knowing how they have done business years ago, with back shop Salesman, I was glad that I was not pressured into having "recommended" work done."
